A range of animal interactions

Our mission
Freedom Riding provides an opportunity for everyone — children diagnosed with sensory needs: autism, Down's Syndrome, or cerebral palsy; teens coping with anxiety or abuse; elderly adults experiencing early signs of dementia and veterans regaining calm while confronting PTSD. The beauty of our model is that we are a horse rescue as well -- so the horse and the rider come together to show care.
Resilience
Encourage
We want "to help all those we can" through animal-assisted recreation in order to support those who defend us (veterans), and those who deserve defense (children.).
Friends along the journey:
Freedom Riding is for those who would benefit from animal interaction (horse, chickens, and goats!), and is an animal rescue.

Lend a Hand
Assisting those who might benefit from "horsing around" is easy. Anyone can help by donating funds or riding equipment. Additionally, you can devote an afternoon at the barn.
